DAY 1: on Location

08/03/2016
PHOTOS FROM PEOPLES PARK
My first day on location was at People's Park. I managed to find pleasant scenery that could always be used in edits, however I did not capture the sort of thing I was looking for. Nevertheless, I did not want to disregard this location, for it is somewhere I do not tend to think of for shooting, but I possibly consider it more so now. It looked a little less perfect in this weather. I got rained on rather a lot. This meant for a more gloomy atmosphere and less people.

Too much green.

The colours work well here. I could possibly add something bold in to stand
out among the neutral, earthy tones.

The houses in the background added something more to this photo: a sort of
juxtaposition. This is
probably my favourite of the day.

I feel this captured the gloominess of the weather here today.

Not relevant, but I just liked the photo.
(Unless I could find a way to add a red touch.)

I liked the composition of this photo. I feel it works well as a piece.

Just about the only red that I managed to find was that of my coat and camera...

I did walk to the park through town, but again, nothing stood out particularly for me here either. I did keep my eyes open! I did sort of expect this outcome so I am not disheartened.
